In African mythology and in some religions, COWRIE SHELLS can represent wealth, fertility, good luck and provide protection for the wearer. These half circle earrings feature an antique copper wire wrapping w/ matching earring hooks. The earrings have been painted a rich taupe on the front and back. The front features 8-9 cowrie shells adhered to the base. Also available in Jameelah Cutie size w/ 3 shells adhered to the front.
